The 6N136 is an 8-pin high-speed 1-channel Transistor Optocoupler which consists of an optically coupled AlGaAs LED with a high-speed photodetector transistor for each channel. A separate relation for the photodiode bias increases the speed by several magnitude orders over traditional phototransistor optocoupler minimizing input transistor base-collector capacitance.
