The MPU-6050 arduino sensor is fitted with a MEMS accelerometer and a MEMS gyro in one chip. This gyroscope sensor is very accurate, since for each channel it contains 16-bit analogue to digital conversion hardware. Thus this gyroscope simultaneously captures the x, y and z channels. Using the I2C-bus, the sensor interfaces with the Arduino. Moreover, we start our first I2C transmission to the GY-521 board to wake it up from sleep mode.This arduino gyroscope MPU-6050 is not expensive, especially given the fact that it combines both an accelerometer and a gyro.
